Mr. Earl Lee Eaton, age 93 of Sparta, formerly of Indiana,
passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Life Care Center of Sparta.
Mr. Eaton was born May 11, 1924 in Argus, Indiana to the late
Garvis Harry & Ethel Mae Powers Eaton. He was a
professional engineer with degrees in several types of engineering.
He has a Purple Heart with the U.S. Army during
World War II and was part of the invasion at Normandy.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed golf and fishing
in his younger years. In addition to his parents,
he is also preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Roler Eaton and
sisters Janet Cage and Donna Richards.
Survivors include his son Eric Eaton and wife Fonda of Cookeville, TN;
daughter Deborah Louise Fenstermaker and husband William of Kendallville, Indiana;
son Ethan L. Eaton of Grand Prairie, TX,
grandchildren; Ryan C. Eaton, Todd A. Eaton,
Scott Fenstermaker, Trevor Fenstermaker, Kelly Masters
and Rebecca Elrod, great-grandchildren: Shelby, Ellie, Abigail,
Audry, Alivia, Reid, Lucy, Megan and Trevor, a
Sister, Joyce Butcher and
several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted
1:00pm Monday, August 14, 2017 from Sunset Memory Garden
Funeral Home, Kokomo, Indiana with entombment
to follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am Monday
until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sparta Rotary Club

Ethan, it made me sad to see your dad had passed away. I will always remember your mom and dad and how much fun they were when I stayed at your house and when we went out west in '76. Don't know that I will be able to make it but will give it my best.
