Earl Alexander, 64, longtime resident of Jacksonville, passed away Dec. 2, 2012 after a sudden illness. He was the son of the late William Earl and Wynelle (Jordan) Alexander and step son of late Maurice Hull. A devoted family man that was retired railroad man and real estate investor. He was pre-deceased by a son, Frank Mixon (surviving wife Shelby). Surviving are his loving wife of 17 years, Sandra, two children, Nathan Alexander (Nicole), Adrianne Alexander, two step children, Jimmy Redmond (Chris), Pamela Boggs (Jeff), seven grandchildren, siblings, Tom Derenthal, Leon Alexander (Bonnie), Wayne Alexander (Nancy), Leona Preston...

Surviving are his loving wife of 17 years, Sandra, two children, Nathan Alexander (Nicole), Adrianne Alexander, two step children, Jimmy Redmond (Chris), Pamela Boggs (Jeff), seven grandchildren, siblings, Tom Derenthal, Leon Alexander (Bonnie), Wayne Alexander (Nancy), Leona Preston (Patrick) and Neil Alexander (Marie) and numerous other relatives and dear friends. The family will greet friends on Thursday, December 6, from 6 8 pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207. The funeral service will be Friday, Dec. 7 at 11:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow for the family only.
