Edgar C. Anderson, 80 years of age died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at his home. He was born June 6, 1932 in El Campo, Texas to the late Paul and Hallie (Melcher) Anderson. Edgar was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was the former president of Leedco Interior Systems in Louisville. He was a member of Floyds Knobs American Legion Post #42 and the Bluebird Society. Edgar was preceded in death by his son, Scott Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Anna (Grangier) Anderson; children, Louette Uhl Hall (Tom) of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, Brian Anderson (Martha) of Greenville, Indiana, Christopher Anderson (Karon) of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Nonie Anderson Voyles of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; brother, Curtis Anderson (Linda) of Ft. Worth, Texas; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild
Visitation will be from 11:00 am ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Saturday at the Kraft Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at St. Mary's Navilleton Catholic Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
The family request expressions of sympathy go to Hosparus of Southern Indiana or Floyds Knobs American Legion Post #42.
