I'm so sorry for your loss. He fought a long and hard battle and now he is at rest. I'm so sorry that Mom and I can't make the trip but I feel that the Hampton family will be will represented by my brothers. We all loved Ed so much and always enjoyed having you come to visit. It never failed that when we talked about him, we all remembered a joke he had told us. He was such a fun, loving person and I know he will be missed by all. Mom loved all her brothers but Uncle Ed had a special place in her heart.
We love you all and hope that you find comfort in all the wonderful memories that you made together.

Special thoughts go your way at this time with much appreciation for past times in your home, in the dentist's chair and when you were on the conv. place at Yellow Springs. Ed was unique in his warmth of friendship and his sense of humor. Now he is safe home and may you all be assured of the Lord's comfort.

Ilene, Beth, Jonathan,
A few words with appreciation for each of you, and especially now for Ed, a friend and a brother to many of us.
Paul said, "to die is gain" in Philippians 1. We gain a better body, a better home, a better unbroken fellowship and a better inheritance and eternal reward. We are glad in Christ we have found the way to the very best.
