I share in your sorrow and grief because my family loved her dearly. She loved all of you and was so proud . She cared for all her family. When her nephew was in Vietnam she always wrote and sent cookies He truly appreciated and loved her too. You were blessed to have her and rest assured she is in heaven and will look over you forever

I didn't know the family but I knew Edith. She shared of herself with me on numerous occasions, when she would come to my workplace. She always had a smile and would speak of heaven, her savior and called me her sister in Christ. We spoke often, several years ago, - she was such a wonderful woman. One day, maybe 12 years ago, she bought me a gift, a book... a daily devotional which I still have - along with the note she wrote. She cared for those around her. She showed such love for me and I knew it had to be the Christ in her. One day I saw a figurine of an angle holding a book and it reminded me of her. I bought it for her. She told me where she put it and she cherished it as much as our friendship. I left that workplace for another but we remained friends and saw each other from time to time. She told me much of her illness and how she was feeling. I have not spoken to her in several months, since her job ended. I am sad to hear of this but I know where she is and I will see her again one day. I am sad to have not gotten to say goodbye. Although we use to say to each other, if I don't see you here I will see you there... and she meant it. Edith I am happy you made it home. You get to see the face of God and the wonders of heaven. Hallelujah!
