Edith W. Prohaska, 97, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of the late Bradley J. Prohaska, died September 22, 2012 at Pilgrim Manor in Cromwell. Born on April 1, 1915 in Summerville, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harold M. and Grace E. (Grimes) Wier. After receiving a BA from Bates College, Edith and Bradley eventually settled in Glastonbury, where she was a longtime member of the First Church of Christ, Congregational. Edith is survived by her daughter Susan P. Edelman of Ohio, Robert J. Prohaska of Canton, CT; a granddaughter Jennifer Arenschield of Ohio; and 2 great-grandchildren, Kayla and Benjamin Arenschield. Funeral arrangements are private, and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in Edith's name to The First Church of Christ, Congregational, 2183 Main Street, Glastonbury, CT 06033. We Browns were so sorry to hear of Edies death. We have great memories of the Carriage Drive neighborhood with your mother and dad next door.
We lost both of our parents this past winter. So life goes on with wonderful memories of fun times.
