I am so sad to hear the news of Ed's passing. In the short time that I have known him, he became one of my favorite people on this planet. Whenever he came in to our office, he always smiled. He truly had a heart of gold. The world needs more people like him, he will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mona and the rest of the Stangel family. Rest in Peace Ed.

I never met "Eddie", but I knew him via his daughter Mona. He will live long in your hearts and minds. May God bless and comfort each of you.

My deepest sympathy to the extended Stangel family. Ed was truly a great friend to my parents Frank and Marie Burns and I have fond memories of parties at the Stangel house growing up. May Ed find a great card game with all those waiting for him and may his family cherish the wonderful memories of a truly special person and member of the greatest generation.
