Edna Claudine Yates of Nashville, Tennessee, age 87, passed away on November 22, 2016.
Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank H. Yates, Jr.; son, Frank H. Yates, III; granddaughter, Melissa Yates; and parents, Fred and Addie Mae McWhorter.
Survived by daughter, Peggy Stanfield; daughter-in-law, Connie Yates; grandchildren, Karen Yates, Ronnie Tosh, Greg (Jessy) Tosh, and Kristy (Andy) Kingsbury; great-grandchildren, Brooklyne Yates, Brett Yates, and Connor Kingsbury; and one great-great grandchild, Mariah Hyde.
She was a nurse for 50 years and was very active with her church, 11th Street Church of Christ, teaching Sunday School for many years.
Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Saturday, November 26, 2016, from one to five o’clock in the evening, and from noon to two-thirty on Sunday, November 27, 2016, with service to follow on Sunday at the funeral home.
