Dear Ann,
Craig and I were both so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. From your mentioning her - and her obit- she sounds like a wonderful person and Mother.
Ann, you certainly have had more of your share of difficult times during the last few years. And, in your true style, you addressed it and dealt with it in your great manor.
Was hoping to be with you today - but, cirumstances prevailed - and obviously we were not able to make it. Will try for tomorrow.
Ann, you were very lucky as I was, to have your Mother for such a long time. You have years of memories to keep her close to you - not just in the coming weeks/months - but, in the years to come. Those are your memories - no one can take them from you. They will be there whenever you need them. And, they will give you some peace and solace in the time to come.
Ann, you are blessed with many friends who care and love you. Reach out to them - this is when these friends will be there for you. To do whatever you want - listen to you, cry with you, help with whatever you need. Please don't hesitate to call any of us.
You and your family have been in our thoughts and our prayers - and, will continue to be. Take care, my dear friend.
Linda O.

I fondly remember going to the Tomkins Cove post office and all the help Edna gave when my mother had to have the latest picture stamp! Edna is partially responsible for my career of 31 yrs with NY State. She suggested that I try for a job with them and here I am. Joyce and Mike I'm sorry a good life has come to an end. Joyce if you have a chance E-Mail me @ [email protected] and let me know how things are. I guess more and more of the "old timers" are gone and I'm sorry to see it happen. Please take care and express how sorry I am to the rest of the family. Please take care all.
