Our Beloved Edna Bloch Bolno passed away on Saturday, July 21st at the age of 92. She died with her loving family beside her. It was an honor and privilege to support her as she returned to her creator. Darling Edna was born in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of Clara & Meyer Bloch & Margaret Bloch. Edna was a "Tom Boy" from the moment she could walk; however, she loved the finer things and was elegant with the way she expressed herself. Edna was witty, polished, an exceptional conversationalist, champion and above all, A Woman of Valor. Edna had a wonderful full life and the love of an amazing husband.. She treasured...
Our Beloved Edna Bloch Bolno passed away on Saturday, July 21st at the age of 92. She died with her loving family beside her. It was an honor and privilege to support her as she returned to her creator.

Darling Edna was born in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of Clara & Meyer Bloch & Margaret Bloch.

Edna was a "Tom Boy" from the moment she could walk; however, she loved the finer things and was elegant with the way she expressed herself. Edna was witty, polished, an exceptional conversationalist, champion and above all, A Woman of Valor.

Edna had a wonderful full life and the love of an amazing husband.. She treasured spending time with her family.

Edna and her husband Charls were married over 71 years. They spent most of their life together in Charlotte, NC & Myrtle Beach, SC. They were fortunate to travel the world together including climbing Machu Picchu.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband Charls and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: Son, Conrad Eddie Lee Bolno (Passed Away) Daughters, Bonnie Elber & Husband Erwin Elber, Robin Lee May & Husband Terry R. May and Mary Carolyn Hogan (Sam). Grand Children: Ki Ki Lee Herr & Husband Bobby Herr, Ashli Francine Zeigler & Husband Shawn Zeigler, Jeremy Medeiros & Veronica Medeiros, Aaron Scott Greenberg, Aaron & Gabriel May and Jeffrey & Jennifer May. Great Grand Children: Jacob & Zachary Herr, Aaron & Samuel Zeigler, Kathryn & Francis Medeiros and Ethan Greenberg.

Edna was buried in Asheville, NC July 23rd, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. There will be a Memorial Service: Wednesday, August 1 at 5:45 PM at Temple Emanuel - 1129 Jefferson Road, Greensboro, NC.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro.  They were so amazing during Edna's life and death process and need the support to continue to help other wonderful people. The world will not be the same without her. No amount of time is sufficient enough when you truly step outside yourself and love unconditionally. To the end she was loved completely. The privilege and honor was all ours…
