Eduardo was born in Tondo, Manila, the Philippines on October 13, 1926 to Lorenzo I. Cuaderes and Anacleta Flores. He was the oldest of four brothers and attended elementary and high school in Tondo. After World War II he attended the Mapua Institute of Technology. In 1948 Eduardo was awarded a fellowship in airways engineering at the C.A.A. Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
While a student in Oklahoma City, Eduardo met and fell in love with Rilla Marie Jones, a student at O.U. School of Nursing. They were married on January 22, 1949. Over the following sixty two years of marriage, they were blessed with thirteen children, twenty eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Eduardo retired from the Oklahoma Department of Highways in 1986 after serving 30 years as an engineer. He was especially proud of his contributions to the development of President Eisenhower's National System of Interstate and Defense Highways.
After retirement, Eduardo and Rilla were able to travel to the Philippines regularly.
Eduardo is survived by his wife Rilla and a large devoted family who will forever miss his quiet loving ways.

Rilla and Family:
In 1961 I lived in the 200 block of NE 15th Street for a while, Eddie and Rilla lived just east of there a little ways and had a good start on their family already. In order to save money and help make ends meet, Eddie would ride to work with anyone who would run by his house in the morning; I was close so I ran by for several months. In good weather Eddie loved to walk to work and back.
Eddie always laughed about his family and said ten children was his goal, because, he said, if you had 10 dependent children you didn’t pay federal income tax.
Each time I have been around Eddie for the past thirty-five years he always starts laughing and talking about his riding to work with me in my “bouncy” car, every time he would mention it!
I had a ’55 Chevy, lowered 3 inches in the front and 3 in the back; it really was “bouncy”, rode a lot like a lumber wagon. Eddie always seemed to enjoy that.
I will miss Eduardo; he was definitely one of a kind, and one fellow that you could call a life-long friend.
In his obituary you mention his "Quiet loving ways" - still water runs deep, Eddie's was always deep.
God bless and comfort you each one!
