It is with great sadness and many fond memories that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and very good friend Ted Bazell on May 16, 2012 in Vernon, at the age of 88 years.
Ted will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years Gertie; children Ron (Anne), Vivian (Rodney) Elgie, Ruth (George) Gibbard, and Jim (Carol); seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and his sisters Rosemary Johnson and Irene Beddington. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond.
Ted was a Canadian War Veteran, an honourary life member of the Vernon Lapidary & Mineral Club, and avid fisherman, hunter, carver and an 'all round' outdoorsman. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service for the comfort of family and friends will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 3205 27 Street, Vernon, BC on Wednesday May 23, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. A private interment service will be held for the family at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
