I knew Jamie from back in the day when he dj'ed with Bill Bartlett at WIVY. First rock station in Jax, I believe. We always had a lot of fun and though that was back in our 20's maybe before, I will always remember him fondly. My prayers and God's comfort be with his family during this very sad and difficult time.

I was a novice to the broadcasting industry when I met Jamie. He hired me as a part timer on the weekends at WAIV - Fm. We had fun. Jamie, was well respected and well liked for his talent and his personality. Last time we spoke he had left the industry and was doing real estate. He will be missed.
May the God of Peace bring comfort to his family during this season.

I wish I would have had more time with you my brother. You made a difference in so many lives. You were blessed with a remarkable smile that was welcoming, warming and made others feels so accepted. Equally was your outlook on life. I read the comments people have been sending and swell with pride. The last three weeks have in itself been such a testimony of your strength, patience and courage. I am so very thankful that God sent you Beverly as your partner. You fulfilled each other's lives. Through her you built family, touching their lives and theirs yours. I know each and everyone of them cherish the memories. I'm so thankful you are at peace now with all pain bannished which was promised to you. From husband and brother to Gaurdian Angel . I love you and miss you. Thank you Lord for the time I did have with you. You sister

I knew Jamie before he became so popular in the Jacksonville radio market. However, the Jamie that i knew was the same then as he would be throughout his career. Good natured. Helpful to his radio buddies. And, always with a smile that became his standard. He will be missed by so many. But, the memories that all of his friends have of Jamie will live on. My condolences to his personal family and his radio family.

Usually people as talented as Jamie are nowhere NEAR as nice as they should be, but there was nothing USUAL about him. Immensely gifted, flawlessly kind, and generous to a fault I don't think I ever heard a cross word or negative thought from him. Rest well, Jamie. You're were a credit to humanity.

There are people who inspire us. Jamie was one of those. He was immensely talented but never let it get in the way of his good heart. He shared all of himself with all of us. I only hope I am worthy of his kindness. He is missed by all he came in contact with.
