BARANCEK, Edward Kissel., Age 90, born on February 1, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan passed away on April 1, 2012 in White Lake, Michigan. Beloved husband of the late Helen "Ruth" Barancek. Loving brother of Joseph (the late Patricia) & the late Milan Barancek. Cherished uncle of Susan (William) McMullen & Sharon (Richard) Michels. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am, on Thursday April 5, 2012, at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 East Highland Road Highland, Michigan. Visitation on Wednesday April 4, 2012, from 4:00 – 7:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Faith Lutheran Church Children's Ministry. Please visit www.eltonblackandsonhighland.com.

Ed will be greatly missed by his many Slovak friends from Our Redeemer. He was a true servant of the Lord as Sunday School teacher, Board member, Usher and friend to many. May you cherish those memories and our prayers for peace and comfort and sincere sympathy. Wilma Pagonetz, Karen & Rhonda
