On November 28, 2010, Edward Eugene Beckman, beloved husband of Kathy Beckman passed away. He is also survived by his loving parents, Ted and Betty Beckman, daughters; Heather Andrews and husband, Michael, Jessica Hicks and husband Rob, Mary Betty Vendemia and husband Nick, his grandchildren; Diana, Ryan, Brandon, Kate, Stephen, Jackson, Paige, Olivia, Joshua, his siblings; Debe Cheek, John Beckman, Susan Schupfer and a host of other loving family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, Dec.1st from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at FLECK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7601 Sandy Spring Road, Laurel, MD. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Dec.2nd at 10 a.m., St. Mary of the Mills Church, 114 Saint Marys Place, Laurel, MD, followed by interment, Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made his memory to: The American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.

I worked for Verizon in West Virginia. I often went to Arlington to work on-site with the rest of the team, and without fail, Ed's big, bright smile and contagious laughter was there to welcome me. He will be truly missed.

I am so very sorry, Kathy, and family for your loss. As you know I lost my husband, Jeff just 5 months ago , and Ed sent my such a lovely note.
