Obituary

Edward Brown, 91, of Philadelphia died Sunday July 27, 2014. Proud U. S. Army Veteran who served in Co. B- 180th Engineers-Heavy Pontoon during WWII. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 810 in NE Phila for over 41 years. He was employed by Breyers Ice Cream for 47 years. "Ice Cream Ed" was a gentleman first class and a true and loyal friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his sisters, Helen and Caroline; Good and faithful friend Bette, best girl Selena, and will be sadly missed by the many loving friends in his adopted family. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 until Funeral Services begin at 1:30 PM on Thursday, July 31st at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road in Huntingdon Valley, PA with interment to immediately follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
