Thinking of you Sue, and your whole family during this difficult time, and we send light and love. I only had the good fortune to meet him a few times, and your Dad was a lovely man. I'm sure he'll be watching over you now. Much love from Vince & Gyula

Dear Huttons, we are so sorry for your loss. Ed's energy has been a blessing to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He and Pat were perfect companions.

Along with Cliff Nixon, Ed was my first hockey coach, and together they led St. Leonard's to glorious championship victory in the final season of the North Toronto Church League.

Singing with Ed in the choir was always a thrill. He would share a nod, a wink and a smirk when we nailed a challenging hymn in practice. I have so many great memories, shared with a great man. God bless you all.

Soo sorry to hear of Ed's passing. He will be missed for sure!! Ed helped soo many people during his lifetime. In later years, Ken and I have not been able to visit as much as we would have liked to, but were able to telephone or e-mail back and forth.

Ed's wife Pat was one beautiful mother who stayed at home and looked after the chidren and her husband, all of the family including along the way, a couple of schnauzer dogs which they trained themselves.
You can wipe away the tears but you can't take away the heartache.

To all the Hutton Family...So sorry to hear that Ed Hutton (a once strong and vital root/branch of your family tree) has now passed on. He will be fondly remembered as a long and loyal client of the Craig Travel family of travellers for his many wonderful qualities. May his life stories live on by the "Longest Yard" and more in the hearts and memories of dear family and friends and acquaintances (which are many). May he now be reunited in spirit with his beloved wife "Patricia" and the other members of the "Mighty Six" on a new and wondrous "Excellent Journey". Cheers! Here's to you Ed - a life well lived. With affection and blessings, Lorraine

Dear Granddad,

When I think of you, I think of strength, contentment, and a life filled with Love and Adventure. For you just kept cruising on, doing what you loved. And you certainly passed your adventurous travel spirit on to me!

I'm sorry I won't be able to attend your service in person. I wish I could be there with the family to embrace one another, as we share in memories and celebrate you and your life. But, I will definitely be there in Spirit. As Marla, Chris and I will be having a little memorial for you here on a remote island in Panama... I think you would like it here.

And as you continue on your journey, I wish you fair winds into a sea of Love, light, and peace.

You will be missed.

Bye for now,

Ed Hutton was a gentle giant-a positive force at St. Leonard's and exceedingly kind to my parents Joe and Sybil Cressy and my brother Jim.
We were in the Christmas pageant together in about 1953. He was one of the "Three Wise Men". Seems that his whole life he was a wise man and a giving one too.
