ED was a great guy offering himself and his service to his church family.
I thought about him today. So sorry I was not "there" at the time as I was battling breast cancer. He has been missed!

My love and prayers to Debbie, Pat and the extended Ludwig family. Although I was only lucky enough to spend time with him every five years at the reunion, he would greet us as if we had just hung out the week before. He was a very generous, loving and kind man. What a role model for those close to him. I can't picture a time when he didn't have that huge smile on his face. Eddie Joe, you were very loved and will be remembered in all our hearts.

Dear Debbie and family. I've never meet you, but I have seen Ed, on about 10 occasions. It was usually a Church function, Mass, Adoration, Monday nite Bible group or the latest, mowing my grass. He was always genuinely concerned about whatever I said. He was just a really nice guy, and those are few between in this day and age. I was so shocked to hear of his passing through the veil, to the other side. I can't even guess how terribly upset you all are! I can say with all honesty, he will be and is ,missed already! I'll keep you-all in my prayers. Your Sister in Christ. Patti Davis. Leavenworth

Rick and Mike, and all of Eddie's family,
I'm so sorry to hear about Eddie. Way back when we all graduated from high school, Eddie, myself and Marla Jean Neihoff car-pooled together for our first year at UMKC. Once or twice, he brought his then baby sister Cindy to school with him, and we all took turns taking her to class with us. It was good fun, and it was heart warming to see how much he loved his brothers and sisters. He became a good friend, and even though it's been many years since I've spoken with him, I shall miss him. My prayers are with you all.

My condolences and prayers go to all of Ed's family, His passing is such a shock and so sad to hear. Ed was always so kind, loving and willing to help others. I am glad that I had the chance to work along side him at St. James School. He shared some fun stories with me and his love for the Royals and Chiefs. We often started the school mornings off with updating each other on the scores from games. I will miss Ed and his smile. Karen Biggs, St. James Art Teacher
