I'm sorry, but I just found out yesterday about E.J.'s passing away. I pray for him and the family - May he rest in peace in Heaven, and may God give the family comfort and peace in the memories of the happy times.

Ed hired me to clerk in his jewelry store in Austin, Texas and for 8 years I loved his kind, gentle patience as my boss. Ed was not all work and no play, as I fondly remember many fun times-especially the surprise limo ride to a lovely dinner downtown and dancing at an Octoberfest in New Braunfels, Texas. We are fortunate to have known Ed as a friend and we will miss him. Our love and sympathy to Doug, Gene, Don and Tinny.

I will miss knowing Ed is on this earth. I have never met a kinder or more gentle person. He mentored for all those who loved him. I am so glad he touched my life. Only knowing he is in God's house is makes his loss more bearable.

Doug, we love you and are so sorry for your loss. One of my many memories of Uncle J, as we neices called him, is him TRYING to teach me how to jitter bug when I was a small child and never complaining when I stepped on his feet. I know he and Mama are now together dancing in heaven. We will miss him always
