E.H. "Chunky" Hendrick Jr 66, passed away on May 8, 2014 in Odessa, Texas. Chunky was born to E.H. "Chunky" and Virginia Hendrick on February 20, 1948 in Odessa, Texas. He married Carolyn Mueller Harrison on February 26, 1976. Chunky was owner of R & H Machine and Supply Company for 23 years. As a professional crank shaft grinder he set the industry standard for his profession. Chunky had many hobbies and passions in his life. E.H. "Chunky" Hendrick Jr 66, passed away on May 8, 2014 in Odessa, Texas.

Chunky was born to E.H. "Chunky" and Virginia Hendrick on February 20, 1948 in Odessa, Texas. He married Carolyn Mueller Harrison on February 26, 1976.

Chunky was owner of R & H Machine and Supply Company for 23 years. As a professional crank shaft grinder he set the industry standard for his profession.

Chunky had many hobbies and passions in his life. For many years his focus was on coaching his sons in little league baseball and Pop Warner football. They all enjoyed drag racing where Chunky was well known at Penwell Raceway for his skill and his humor. Chunky spent decades as a dedicated volunteer coach with Special Olympics. He was an avid bowler and participated on many leagues and loved to play cards. He was a devoted husband, dad, grandad, brother and friend.

Chunky is survived by the love of his life his wife Carolyn, his sons Dennis Harrison, Bryan Harrison and his wife Lisa and Shawn Harrison and his wife Crystal; two sisters Liz and husband Dave Stanfield and Marcy Hubbard; nine grand children; three great grand children and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held for Chunky on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Odessa Funeral Home at 17th and Jackson in Odessa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Team Odessa Special Olympics: 4342 Graves Dr. Odessa, Tx 79762.
