Obituary

Edwin Ballard Pool, 73, passed away Monday, June 02, 2014 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, IN. He was born May 6, 1941 in Roanoke, VA to the late Creighton E. Pool and Mary Frances (Elmore) Pool. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Charlestown VFW, and a former member of the American Legion in Indianapolis. He was a lifelong Charlestown resident and a member of First Christian Church in Charlestown. He was also a freelance photographer, the track photographer for the Jeffersonville Sportsdrome, a semi-truck driver, and retired from Riverton Trucking as a dump truck driver. Survivors include:...

11 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home chapel with burial and military honors at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, IN.
