CONCORD-Eileen R. Kushmerek, 87, of Concord, NH passed away on September 11, 2017 at The Birches of Concord, NH, after a period of declining health. She was born in Boston, MA to Arthur and Hazel (Cutlip) Call on July 24, 1930 and raised in Dorchester, MA.
Eileen was a stay at home mother maintaining a household for her husband and two children. Eileen worked part-time for a number of years at the State Street Bank in Boston, MA to help save enough money for her family to buy a home in Salem, MA. She later worked part-time doing housekeeping for selective clients in Lynnfield, MA to augment the family income.
She was a wonderful woman, a great and loving mother, and always kept a picture perfect clean home for her family.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Edward A. Kushmerek; her parents, Arthur and Hazel Call; her sister, Mary (Call) Murphy; brothers, Arthur and Joseph Call
Members of her family include her sons, Stephen M. Kushmerek and wife Katherine of Bow, NH and Edward R. Kushmerek and wife Denise of New Milford, CT; Her grandson, Adam Kushmerek and granddaughters, Kara A. Loth and Kristina M. Johnson and great grandsons Owen and Oliver Loth; sister, Rita (Call) Quirk of Pittsfield, MA; her brothers, Lawrence Call and his wife, Mary of Hernando, FL, William Call and his wife, Pat of Milford, MA and Robert E. Call of Braintree, MA, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on September 26, 2017 at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St. Concord, NH at 10:00AM. A committal service will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 DW HWY Boscawen, NH at 11:30AM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Concord, NH Regional Hospice Program, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, NH 03301.
