Mrs. Eileen Morrissey, of Peachtree City, GA passed away on January 29, 2018. She was born to the late William and Bridie Golden of Ireland and New York on January 31, 1932. She loved her family immensely and adored her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James Golden.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Anthony "Chuck" Morrissey; sons, Bud (Becky) Morrissey and James (Etta) Morrissey; daughters, Carolyn (Walter) Schmalenberger, Marilynn (Joe) Andrews, and Michelle (Rodney) Crow; grandchildren, William, Zachary, John, Anthony, Matthew, Michael, and Olivia Morrissey, Jordan and Evan Schmalenberger, Austin and Chad Andrews, and Blake and Bryan Crow; a brother, William (Lorraine) Golden; and a sister-in-law, Mary Golden.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City, GA at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City, GA.
A visitation will be held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, GA on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm.

Your mom, lovely Eileen, was the sweetest and gentlest lady! She was graceful and loving and always smiling! I am so sorry that you've had to say goodbye-for now-and know that you will keep her beautiful memory alive always.
