Elaine M. Anderson, 76, of Union City, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at her home. She was born October 17, 1936 in Kidder, South Dakota to Ernest H. and Beulah O. (Haverly) Alberts. She married Vernon Anderson on October 22, 1955 in Bloomington, MN. She lived most of her life in Minnesota.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Vernon, a daughter, Lynn (John) Holm, granddaughter, Julianne (Tom) Knapp, grandson, James (Katrina) Holm, great granddaughters, Shaidan, Tailynn, and Braidyn Knapp and Alicia Macie Holm, a brother; Duane (Darlene) Alberts, one niece and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Elaine was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was the rock of the family, always supportive of others and a strong, good-hearted woman who smiled often and loved to garden.
There is no service scheduled at this time.
