Elbert Parker, age 73, of Lumberton, Mississippi passed away on Thursday January 25, 2018.
Elbert was born January 6, 1945 in Lumberton, Mississippi to Hester Smith Parker and Ellis Parker. He was a retired tool pusher; a member of Caney Baptist Church; enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons; and cooking for his family.
Elbert is survived by his wife, Evelyn Smith Parker; two sons Russell Scott (Rhonda) Parker, Jerry Ellis (Lynn) Parker; three sisters, Joan Bardwell, Mae Lee Bond, Marlene Fox; two granddaughters, Jordan (Destry) Sistrunk, Mariah (Dustin) Bolin, two grandsons, Jacob Parker, Wesley Parker; five great grandchildren, Renee, Karlee, Kolten, Shiloh, and Kiah.
In addition to his parents, Elbert was preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Nicole Parker.
Graveside funeral services will be at Baxterville Cemetery, 625 Gulf Camp Road, Lumberton, MS, 39455 on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be at New Life Church of God, 117 Entrekin Road, Purvis, MS, 39475 on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
