Born March 29, 1923 in New Milford, Ohio, Eleanor Marie Drugan was the daughter of Michael and Pauline Kunst.

She graduated from Ravenna High School and enlisted in the Coast Guard SPARS serving in Washington, D.C. where she reveled in walking along the Tidal Basin, especially in spring when the cherry trees were in bloom. Toward the end of World War II, she returned to Ravenna. A life-long member of Immaculate Conception Church, she met her future husband Robert Drugan in the church where they later married on January 27, 1951.

Eleanor worked first as a beautician at Betty's Beauty Shop in Kent and later at Pyramid Rubber and then in the Portage County Court House where she was in charge of the print shop for the Commissioners. She loved flowers and gardening and was devoted to her many pets over the years. A voracious reader, she was an eager learner always expanding her horizons.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Drugan and many nieces, nephews and caring friends and neighbors.
