Eleanor C. "Pat" George, age 88, Lakeland, passed away on April 24, 2013 at Consulate Health Care. She was born in Nelson, WI on June 27, 1924 to John E. and Agnes E. (Espen) Ludwigson. She married Glen M. George in 1942 in Sioux Falls, SD and became a supportive military wife traveling and living all over the world. She enjoyed the travel with her husband and volunteered for many organizations, before retiring in the Plant City area.
Pat was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Lakeland. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Storts (Robert) of Lakeland, and a son, Kenneth A. George of Fort Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen in 2002, three brothers, and three sisters. Funeral Services for Pat will be on Monday April 29, 2013 11:00 am at Wells Memorial and Event Center, 1903 W. Reynolds St., Plant City, FL. 33563. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
