I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's Passing, She was a wonderful Lady, with a great sense of humour. I must have started at Sears the same year as she did, and knew her well. I was surprised to see her at the Hospital a couple of weeks ago. Of course, I also knew your Dad very well too, and he was known for his quick wit, and play on words. He could always come up with a zinger. We would just wait for the penny to drop! I loved the photo gallery that portrayed all the wonderful times they had in their life together. Great memories to have and to hold close to your heart.

Sincere condolences. I worked with your Dad at Sears. He was a great role model. He and your mom invited the close group that worked together at the store out to your place at the lake, Camp Maple Leaf for the first Super Bowl in January 1967. I attended with my girlfriend, now my wife of 44 years. It was a wonderful day and evening. Every year on Super Bowl Sunday we remember being at the Hill's. I did not know your mom very well. I always wanted to tell your Dad how much I respected him and enjoyed his party. That whole group from Sears were the best. Perhaps you may remember Super Bowl I , the Hill family made everyone welcome and at home. Sincerely John Stencell

I have known Eleanor and her husband Reg for a number of year. I had both Reg and Eleanor as my department manager in the catalogue dept of Sears. Both were great people to work for and friends. My Husband and I send our sympathies to the family along with our prayers. They are both in Heaven watching now

I met Eleanor as a member of the All Saints Quilters. We spent many a Thursday cheerfully stitching and chatting together. She was without a doubt the kindest lady I know. I recall one particular Summer Thursday afternoon we sat stitching while and listening to the Blue Jays game on the radio. She spoke often and very proudly of her children and grandchildren. Please accept my condolences. Debra Graham
