Eleanor "Ellie" D. (Maestri) Zoanetti,, of Sudbury and formerly of Syracuse, NY, died Weds. Mar. 19 after celebrating her 90th birthday with family and friends in November.
She was the beloved wife of the late Sereno Zoanetti.
Born in Albany, NY she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mae (Mandeville) Maestri. Eleanor was the devoted mother of Barbara Ciampa and her husband Joseph of Sudbury, and the late Raymond Zoanetti; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Zoanetti of Carbondale, IL survives; cherished grandmother of Nichole C. Bull and her husband Jon, Serena C. McNally and her husband Geoffrey, Joseph Ciampa, Jonathan Zoanetti, and Lauren Zoanetti; and the loving great-grandmother of Preston and Thomas Bull, and Claire Mae McNally.
Eleanor devoted 33 years of service to General Electric's manufacturing division as a Process Manager. Eleanor adored her family and friends, enjoyed her tea time, summertime in Otisco and Skaneateles, and challenging her family to games of Parcheesi-right up until the last night of her life.
Funeral from the Duckett – J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd. SUDBURY on Mon. Mar. 24 at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 o'clock at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Rd. Sudbury; interment to follow in New North Cemetery, Sudbury. Visiting hours will be held from 2-6 PM on Sunday at the funeral home, relatives and friends kindly invited.

EL certainly had a great great run. I'll remember all the trips we took with Mother and Maude. The Holiday get togethers in Lowville, and the summer vacation at Brantingham Lake. The visits in Syracuse. R.I.P. Cousin...Wayne & Rita Love....

We all enjoyed so much the times we got to spend with her and with you, and we know what a huge hole she leaves in your hearts.
