Lane, Elfrieda Meissner
On September 5, 2017 Elfrieda Lane passed away peacefully in her home in surprise, Arizona. Elfrieda was born October 10, 1921 in what was known
as Landsberg, Germany. At the impressive age of 95 Elfrieda lived a life full of love and adventure surrounded by her family. Elfrieda married her husband Paul, who was a soldier in the United States Military. shortly after being sent back to the United States after the end of world War II in 1945, Paul made the necessary steps to bring Elfrieda back to the states in the year 1951, where they were then married. Elfrieda was predeceased by her husband Paul in the year 1985 but is survived by her daughter Trudy Whitman; her son Paul Hobart Lane; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Elfrieda was an incredibly determined and loving woman whose light and joy in this world was unmistakeable. Though Elfrieda has many hobbies in life she most enjoyed cooking and being able to spend time with her family and many grandchildren. She will be thought of and remembered often, though she is no longer with us she will always be by our side.
