Elliott 'Rosie' Roseman, age 74, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 surrounded by his loved ones. Elliott grew up in North Plainfield where he married his high school sweetheart, Marjorie, and moved down the shore to Toms River to raise his family. He was a proud father of Jacqueline and son-in-law Larry, Natalie and Bobby, an even prouder Poppy of his four grandkids, Sara, Melisa, Lauren and Nicholas and the most proud great Poppy of baby Elliatt.

Elliott loved starting each day at Poppy's Place and ending each at the American Legion, post #129, with his closest friends. A former Marine, Ironworker, Local 373, and employee of Toms River Schools, Elliott took pride in everything that he did. Elliott enjoyed his classic cars and car shows, his favorite Yankees and Jets and spending time with his family. Elliott was an extremely caring man who was loved by everyone that had the privilege to meet him. He is leaving his family and friends with a great legacy and the best example of how to live your life.

The memorial gathering will be held at Anderson & Campbell in Toms River on Friday, August 29th from 3-7pm with the repass to follow at the American Legion, post #129, Toms River, NJ. Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River, NJ, is in charge of arrangements.
