Obituary

Elisabeth J. Shippam died in Homosassa, FL of natural causes on August 1, 2014. Born in New York City in 1925 to Joseph A. and Mary Hines she experienced the Great Depression, World War II, the Space Age and the Digital Revolution. She and her husband of 58 years Albert T. Shippam retired from Greens Farms, CT to Homosassa in 1986. She was predeceased by her loving husband in 2006. Elisabeth was a member of the Friends of the Homosassa Public Library, the Sugarmill Woods Women's Club and the Crystal River Women's Club. She is survived by her two sons: Thomas of Norwalk, CT and Michael of Fairport, NY. In addition her daughter-in-law...
Elisabeth J. Shippam died in Homosassa, FL of natural causes on August 1, 2014. Her interment will take place at the National Cemetery in Bushnell and will be a private service, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
