Elizabeth Anne Obser, 75 of Wilmington, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2017.
She was born in Mount Vernon, NY on March 16, 1942 to the late Edward Pickering Rippon and Edna Elizabeth Holley Rippon.
Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an accomplished artist who enjoyed drawing the most. Elizabeth was a devoted Christian here on earth and is now reunited with her husband once again and our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Harry L. Obser and her brother Edward G. Rippon.
She is survived by her son Harry L. Obser Jr., her daughter-in-law Star M. Obser, and her three grandchildren Aaron L. Obser, Ashlyn H. Obser and Andrew J. Obser.
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Chapel of Wilmington, 2831 Carolina Beach Rd. Wilmington, NC 28412 on May 20, 2017 at 2PM with Harry L. Obser Jr. officiating. Reception will follow at Golden Corral, 5130 New Centre Dr. Wilmington, NC 28403.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Chapel of Wilmington. www.calvaryofwilmington.org
