Elizabeth Papillon Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 15, 2017.

Elizabeth Heather Papillon, 36, of Harrisburg, Formerly of East Stroudsburg, passed away due to complications with Asthma on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at The Harrisburg Community General Hospital. She was the loving girlfriend of Ryan Summers.
Born December 3, 1980 in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of Steve Papillon and Rose Williams.
Heather attended The East Stroudsburg High School, obtained her GED a few years later and was currently attending Harrisburg Community College. She fought her own fair share of demons but never let them conquer her, or define her lifestyle. Heather had a way about her that just brought a peaceful feeling to those among her.
Heather was a remarkable person. She brought sunshine in the darkest of days and spread love and happiness without even knowing it. One of the greatest gifts she ever received was the opportunity to be a mother to her beautiful 11-year-old daughter Zoe. Heather strived every day to be the best woman, role model, and mother to her baby.
Her smile, laughter, and determination will live on through the lives she has touched. She was a beautiful young woman who will be sorely missed.
Elizabeth had been preceded in death by her maternal grandparents William and Shirley Bozzett and her paternal grandparents Marlin and Cookie Papillon.
In addition to her parents: Steve and Rose, and her boyfriend: Ryan Summers; Those left to cherish her memory include her siblings: Tonya Mattatall of Middletown, NY; Aaron Stevens and his wife Lorey, of Bangor, PA; and Bradley Serfass, of NJ; Her daughter: Zoe Elizabeth Cook; her nephews: John, Doug, Dillon, Eric, and niece Sheilah.
Friends and family are welcome to gather for a memorial service led by Pastor Angelo Sunday, May 21 at 5:00 pm at Th Light of The World Church, 114 Academy Drive, Minisink Hills, Minisink Hills, PA 18341.

This is not the end, my sister.
Just as the sea sings songs to infinity.
No matter what happened in my life you would turn my gray skies the brightest shade of blue.
I will never forget your beatiful eyes and your most infectious laugh.
Our paths will cross again when the sea sings our song.

"I sent a dove to Heaven with a parcel on it's wings..
Be careful when you open it, it's full of beautiful things..
Inside are a million kisses wrapped up in a million hugs..
To say how much I miss you and to send you all my love..
I hold you close within my heart and there you will remain..
To walk with me throughout my life until we meet again."

I LOVE YOU - Love always and forever and always,

Lizzy (Chicken Gizard)

Ah Heather. I still can't believe this is real. Even though we haven't spoken in years, it only seems like yesterday. I pray you are at peace. I'll always remember you. Every memory I have of us together is a good one, and I'm so thankful for that. Peace and Love.
