Elizabeth Rose Cataldo (nee Palmisano), of East Hanover, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 in Troy Hills Nursing Home in Parsippany at the age of 90.
The visitation will be held at the LaMonica Memorial Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston on Thursday, February 1, from 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, February 2, at 11am in St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover. The Cremation will be private.
Liz, one of 7 siblings who have all predeceased her, was born in Glen Ridge to the late Theresa and Enrico Palmisano and lived in Belleville and Irvington before moving to East Hanover in 1982.
She was employed doing clerical work for Bauer Factory Supply in Irvington for 20 years retiring in 1984.
Liz was also a member of the Rosary Altar Society of St. Rose of Lima Church.
She was the beloved wife of John Cataldo, loving mother of Carol Zoni and her husband Bart and Diane Luizza and her husband John, cherished grandmother of Bart Zoni and his wife Ania, Johnny Luizza and his wife Kristen, and Christopher and Vincent Luizza, and adored great grandmother of Natalia, Drew, and Jake.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

A sad farewell to a wonderful and caring lady. Grandma Cataldo was adored by our family and will always remain in our hearts and our minds. Thank you Elizabeth for always being so kind to us. May we meet again.
