Beth lived life to the fullest! As a young girl just out of school, she worked as a mechanics helper, servicing planes for pilots training to fight in WWII. Later, she enrolled in business college – and then worked for the City of Winnipeg in various capacities. She loved to travel and toured Europe and the British Isles with her sister and friends. Her greatest passion was nature and animals, particularly dogs and birds. She had may interests – needlework, gardening, cooking, reading, sports and the Arts. Beth made friends wherever she went and will be sadly missed by them and her adopted family.
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar
When I put out to sea.
