Elizabeth D. Faw

Washington, DC-On Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, Elizabeth D. Faw, formerly of Salisbury, died peacefully in her residence, Grand Oaks Assisted Living in Washington, DC. Born in 1920, she graduated from Beaver College (now Arcadia University) in Jenkintown, Pa., briefly taught school and was a longtime member of Asbury Methodist Church. An accomplished pianist, she also volunteered at several local organizations. Her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert D. Faw, died in 2006.

She is survived by two children and three grandchildren, Robert D. Faw Jr. and his wife, Marcia Henning of Chevy Chase, Md.; Donna Anne Faw and her husband, Jay W. Miller of Whitefish Bay, Wis.; Douglas Faw Miller, of Atlanta; Anna Medaris Miller and Caitlin Henning Faw, both of Washington, DC.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wicomico County Public Library.

Arrangements under the direction of Joseph Gawler's Sons LLC, Washington, DC.
