Elizabeth B. Johnson – age 88, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011, at a local hospital. Mrs. Johnson was born on September 2, 1922 to Sallie and James Madison Bosarge in Coden, Alabama where she remained a lifelong resident. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Johnson; son, Kevin E. Johnson; brother, Wilson Bosarge; and sisters, Marie Gray, Margie Bosarge, and Eunice Wheeler. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Johnson (Elaine) and Leverne Johnson of Coden, AL; four daughters, Frances Reichert of Alpharetta, GA, Joan Bosarge, Donna Eddins (Bill), and Karen Harris all of Coden, AL. Mrs. Johnson is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held from Coden United Methodist Church in Coden, Alabama on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Linwood Lewis officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church. Interment will be in Oddfellow Cemetery. Honorary pallbearer will be her great-grandson, Little Ardist Johnson. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jeremy Eddins, Dennis Bosarge, Timmie Johnson, Jason Johnson, Danny Harris, Jr., and William Eddins, Jr.
