Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba her family came to B.C. when she was 5 years of age. She met Lewis after graduation, married in 1943 and raised their children in Burnaby. Betty and Lewis moved to Langley in 1972 and spent their retirement years enjoying their hobby farm. Horses, cattle, pets and a nursery business kept them busy and provided them with many wonderful happy years together. Betty will always be remembered for her beautiful smile; her warmth, kindness and love for her family and friends.

Mass to celebrate Betty's life will be offered at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (20676 Fraser Hwy, Langley) on Friday, September 28, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. Reception to follow at Langley Golf & Banquet Centre (4343-216 St. Langley). Entombment (4:00 p.m.) at Garden's of Gethsemani (15800-32 Ave. Surrey) Our sincere thanks to the caring staff at Langley Lodge and to the TLC companions who provided our mother with much joy, love and friendship. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the B.C. Heart & Stroke Foundation.
