Elva Sanchez Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 9, 2012.

Elva A Sanchez went to be with her Lord on Saturday October 6, 2012. Elva was born May 27, 1942 in Fort Stockton, TX to Carlos Acosta and Simona Villovoz. A few words that describe Elva were strong, fun, vocal, rambunctious and opinionated. She was a "beast" about her kids and grandkids, she was very protective, even though you could say her favorite past time sport was picking on the kids. Elva was out-going, she would talk to anyone. She enjoyed reading her magazines, spoiling her grandkids, or having Barbie dates with her granddaughter. She was a hard worker, worked till the day she went to the hospital. Elva loved her husband! She missed him very much, and waited till what would have been their 26th wedding anniversary to pass. She is preceded in death by her parents Carlos Acosta and Simona Villalovoz, husband of 23 ½ years, Juan F. Sanchez III, sister Anabel Elizondo. She is survived by daughter Christina Cassity and husband David, son Tony Ray Sosa and wife Martha, step sons John Sanchez and Manuel Sanchez, step-daughter Silvia Ree, niece/daughter Lydia Olgin. She is also survived by one sister, Lydia Rodriguez. Grandsons Scott Rodgers, Garett Cassity, Jacob Cassity and David Ray Cassity. Granddaughters Jennifer Parsley and Meagan Cassity. 7 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, honorary grandchildren and friends.

Auntie ,
You were always there to pick up the peices when I was falling apart. You never once let me down.Always trying to make sure that nobody hurt my feelings or did me wrong. You made certain when Zak was growing up to seek him out and make sure he was loved. He has fond memories of you taking him shopping and just hanging out. We will always hold you close in our hearts and never ever forget your love for us.
Only you know the bond between you and I and what it consisted of.And for that I am eternally grateful to have had you in my life!
I know you are up in heaven wih all our family, but especially Mom. You two had alot of catching up to do. Keep your loving arms around us all and ,
Until We Meet Again....
