Elvin was one of the hardest working, most decent men I have ever been around. As Elvin always said when he heard of the passing of one of the shrinking ranks of those in the working end of the wood business, "Well, we lost another one of our old boys". I'm sure right now he is once again digging in on some of the brown grocery bag 1/2 full of his momma's biscuits. Rest in peace old friend, you and your ways will be missed!
