Emilio Luis Hoffman, 14 of Troutdale OR, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. He was born on July 15, 1999 in Portland, Oregon and had just completed his freshman year at Reynold's High School in Troutdale, Oregon. Emilio was active with various soccer clubs in the area. In addition to soccer, Emilio loved his family, his friends and "selfies". Laughter was a common occurrence if you were in the same room with Emilio – his fun was contagious.
Emilio is survived by his mother Jennifer Hoffman and father Abraham Gallardo of Troutdale OR; sister Abi Hoffman and brothers Niko Hoffman, Isaiah Hoffman and AJ Hoffman all of Troutdale OR; grandmother Millie Rilling of Troutdale OR; grandfather Antonio Gallardo and grandmother Catalina Gonzalez of Mexico; uncle Alex Gallardo and cousins Antonio, Bela and Veronica. He is also survived by many foster brothers and sisters that include: Josh, Derrick, Rashaan, Micah, Adam, Ben, Marissa and Luis and by his girlfriend Alyssa Karm of Troutdale OR.
Viewing will take place on Wednesday, June 18 and Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 10:00am to 5:00pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd in Gresham, Oregon. A Celebration of Emilio's Life will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Good Shepherd Community Church, 28986 SE Haley Road, Boring, Oregon 97009. Private interment will follow at Douglass Cemetery in Troutdale, Oregon.
