To Mike, Gary, Mark & Sharon...
All of us kids at Hickory Tree have very fond memories of your mother. Never saw her frown, always laughing and cutting up. We all loved her very much. Growing up at Hickory Tree was a special time and we remember a magnitude of people like your mom!! Thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families during this hard time. She is resting peacefully and in heaven cutting up with your dad again...can't you just hear the laughter between those two?? Love all of you!!

Sharon, Mark, and other family members,
My condolences are with you. I never
knew Emily too well, but her sweet, pleasant
demeanor was always and inspiration to me.
I know you will miss her, but remember and be
thankful for the good memories of a loving, caring
mother.

Many good times at the Alexander home playing after church, camping, and general tom foolery. Whenever I remember my childhood at Hickory Tree Baptist Church, the Alexander family are always part of those memories. My sympathy and prayers are with you. May God Bless

So sorry for your loss. Prayers sent to you and youir family. She is at home now and one day we all will be together again. God Bless you and your family.
The sorrow of the faithful
is not that of permanent loss,
but the tender sense of sadness
that comes in saying good-bye for now
to someone we love.
May today's sorrow give way
to the peace and
comfort of God's love.

Dear Mike, Gary, Mark, Sharon and Spouses:
We are so sorry for the lost of your Mother/Mother-in-law. I know how much
she loved her Lord and now she is in His arms, and with no more pain.
We loved her and she was a very devout Christian Lady. She always
left you with a smile and she was the most sincere lady. She loved ALL
of you and always had good things to say about her kids. I know you will miss her but just remember how much she loved each of you.
May God bless you in the days ahead. (We was out of town and found your
messages when we got back tonight) Thanks for thinking to call us.

It's time for rest, Aunt Emily. You and Uncle Frank served my children their first fried bologna sandwiches, the best in the world. Thanks for all your love and support through the years. My favorite saying from you: "Dear Emily, I do not need your help today. Love, God". I will always love and miss you.

My sweet Aunt Emily. Rest in the loving arms of Jesus. I remember coming to your house and we would eat homemade pimento cheese sandwiches. Special times we had together. Love and miss you very much.
