Our Beautiful Mother "Emily Carol King". You were the best Mother that A Mother could be. You cared for us as A Mother would do, you protected us through and through. You were A Beautiful Woman inside and out, with A Heart Of Gold that made you stand out. You had a very strong will to the very end, You are with "Jesus Our Savior", now let the celebration begin. We Love You Mom, till we meet again.

Emily King was born in New York City in 1921 to Italian American parents. She migrated west to California in the mid 1930's with her Mother, Stepfather and two brothers to start a new life. In 1947 she married Daniel King which was the start of a beautiful 51 year marriage. They had three children in the 1950's and early 1960's and called Culver City home for most of that time. Emily was a housewife and was active in PTA, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and many other activities. Many lifelong friends were made through these activities. Dan and Emily also loved to camp and fish and got to do so on many family vacations and outings. In later years they enjoyed a brief but pleasant retirement in Apple Valley before moving back to the Los Angeles area. Emily is survived by her brother Joseph Bryers. Her children Cathy King, Ron King and Jackie King as well as her grandkids, Brandon and Jason. Emily was outgoing and enjoyed people and was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She will be missed.
