Eric Dylan Zuniga, age 25, passed away on September 8, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on April 20, 1992 in Mesquite, Texas. Eric was raised in Mesquite, Texas and graduated from Mesquite High School in 2010.
Eric proudly served in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman for 2 years and 7 months. He worked as a Security Guard at El Centro College in Dallas, Texas.
In his spare time Eric enjoyed being with his family at cookouts and during holiday celebrations. He enjoyed conversations about politics and life in general.
His friends and family will always remember him as a kind, sweet, and very helpful person who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
He is preceded in death by his uncle Ralph G. Vega; great-grandmother Catalina Zuniga; and great-grandfathers Julio Ortiz and Lorenzo Zuniga.
Eric is survived by his father Juan M. Zuniga; brother Damien Zuniga; step-mother Caroline V. Zuniga; grandparents Delfino and Maria Zuniga Sr.; step-grandparents Fidel and Susie Vega Jr.; great-grandmother Juanita Ortiz; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
