Eric Bauer, 55 of Carrollton, TX previously of Pittsburgh, PA and Ft Lauderdale, FL, passed away on Wed., April 30 after a 3 year battle with cancer. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald E. Bauer and his niece Dawn Bauer Page. He is survived by his wife, Beth Buretz Bauer of Carrollton, his mother, Nancy McMaster of Bradenton, FL, his step-mother, Sally Bauer of Butler, PA, His siblings, Marla and Angelo Coradi of Satellite Beach, FL, Brian and Donna Bauer of Sierra Vista, AZ and Candi and Mike Gibson of Butler, PA. Eric Bauer, 55 of Carrollton, TX previously of Pittsburgh, PA and Ft Lauderdale, FL, passed away on Wed., April 30 after a 3 year battle with cancer. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald E. Bauer and his niece Dawn Bauer Page. He is survived by his wife, Beth Buretz Bauer of Carrollton, his mother, Nancy McMaster of Bradenton, FL, his step-mother, Sally Bauer of Butler, PA, His siblings, Marla and Angelo Coradi of Satellite Beach, FL, Brian and Donna Bauer of Sierra Vista, AZ and Candi and Mike Gibson of Butler, PA. His nephews Michael Martin and David Coradi, his nieces Elizabeth Coradi and Julia and Maisy Gibson. His step-daughters, Jennifer Buretz and Brittany and Tyler Lipman and their children Katie and William Lipman of Denton TX.

He was employed by Flexjet, LLC in Addison, TX and worked in the aviation industry for over 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved duck hunting, riding his Harley, and his dogs - Max, Lucy and Pep. In 1990, Eric became a Master Mason in the Fort Lauderdale, FL Doric Masonic Lodge #140. He served as its Worshipful Master in 1999 and took on service positions as lodge treasurer and District Chairman for Public Education and Citizenship. He also was a Special Olympics volunteer coach for many years.

Eric's laughter, kindness and cheerful disposition will live on in the memories of his family and friends forever. Services for Eric will be held Saturday, May 3rd at the Rhoton Funeral Home located at 1511 S. I-35E Carrollton, TX 75006 starting at 5:30pm, service will start at 6:00pm and a reception will follow.
