Dear Todd, Amy, Daniel and Grace, We were only privileged to know Eric when he would visit us down the street while we kept our grandchildren, but we had great times with him and looked forward to him coming to the door. Joel and Ashley and their children are out of town, but we want you to know that even though we did not see you often, you so deeply touched our hearts. We are praying for each of you now in your loss of Erik, but knowing you will be with him again means everything. Blessings and love, Jim and Sally Mazzella

During the time that I worked for Dr. Igel it was always and unexpected pleasure when Erik called to chat. He was always happy and full of stories to tell. He enjoyed life with his family and friends. Although I have not talked to him for about 2 years I have thought of him often.

Amy, Todd, Daniel and Grace,
I am so sorry. Erik had so much love and joy in his heart and I am so blessed to have witnessed that pure love and the impact it had on others, myself included. I will never forget sharing a meal at a restaurant and when the server placed Erik's meal in front of him, Erik looked at the young man and said thank you - and I was awed because it was such a powerful, sincere, heart felt expression and I knew I had witnessed something sacred. From the server's reaction he felt it too. Thank you Erik for enriching my life. My love to you all. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
