Erlyne Allen went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 21, 2011.
She was born October 20, 1920, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Sylvester and Lillian Tidwell and was one of seven children.
She married John Allen in 1941 and enjoyed her life as the wife of an Air Force officer and mother of four daughters. John's military career took them many places and Erlyne enjoyed their travels, making new friends and being active in the local Southern Baptist Church wherever they were stationed.
The family moved to Ellensburg in 1970 where she resided until her death.
Erlyne was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings, and her husband, John.
She is survived by her four daughters and their families – Carolyn Denton, Lorraine Hill, Laura Devones, all of Ellensburg and Beverly (Tom) Johnson of Yakima.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 26th, at 11:00 a.m. at Steward & Williams Tribute Center in Ellensburg. Arrangements under the direction of Steward & Williams Tribute Center, Ellensburg, WA.

Sorry for you loss. I remember Mrs. Allen coming up to my grandma's when I was growing up. Remember seeing her in church as I was growing up.
