Ermajean Anderson, 92 of Hamlet, NC formerly of St. James City, FL passed away on March 21, 2014. She was born on March 1, 1922 in Akron, Ohio to Thomas and Frances Thompson Wade. Mrs. Anderson was a long time resident of Coshocton County, OH. She was a life long member of the Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School for over 40 years. She enjoyed writing and reading poetry, short stories, and loved painting portraits and scenery.
She is survived by her loving family including four children; Ronald E. Anderson (wife Ruthellen) of Dawsonville, GA, Thomas P. Anderson (wife Kate) of Prescott, AZ, Judith Anderson Britton (husband Bob) of Hamlet, NC, Dennis M. Anderson (wife Darlene) of Stonecreek, OH; one brother, Jack Wade; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Anderson.
Visitation will begin at 10am on Wednesday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home 1630 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral until the funeral at 12 noon. Entombment will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Cape Coral Church of Christ, 1010 SW 20th Ave, Cape Coral, Fl 33991. seeing your mother's obituary brought back memories. I had lost track of her and Harold through the years. I worked with your dad at Cyclops years ago and he taught me about the true account of the birth story of Jesus which I use to teach people to this day. I met your mother only twice that I can remember, once when they lived near Cyclops and when they lived between Bakersville and Stonecreek on ohio 751. I did not know that Harold had passed also. Keep the memories and may God comfort you as only He can in this time of loss.
