Obituary

Ermine Palmer Peavy passed away peaceably on December 1, 2012 surrounded by loving family. She was born on January 7, 1914, in Leonard, Texas to parents Will and Ethel Arnold. She was married 47 years to her late husband, John Peavy, Jr. Survivors are her daughter, Pamela Brandt and husband David Brandt; her son, John Peavy III and wife Linda Peavy; and grandson James Brandt and wife, Natasha Brandt. She is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a major in home economics and taught high school students until her marriage. She was active at University Park United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for elementary students for over 30 years and co-founded the Monday Morning Prayer Group. Services will be held at University Park United Methodist Church on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Edgewood, Texas.
